Can I bring my existing gift cards?

Yes. With our switch service you import existing cards while preserving card number, barcode and balance. A guided wizard helps with column mapping, validation and reconciliation.

I still use paper vouchers or Excel — can I digitize?

Yes. Kadova works if you are starting gift cards for the first time, or if you want to digitize a manual program (paper, Excel, notebooks). Set up templates and balance tracking, issue physical or digital cards, and manage everything from one dashboard — without a complex migration.

How does the free trial work?

You get 7 days full access to all features of your chosen plan. No credit card required to start. After that you have 7 more days of read-only access to activate a subscription. Without an active subscription your account is paused after 14 days.

Which payment methods are supported?

For your subscription you can pay via iDEAL/Bancontact (Mollie) or credit card (Stripe). Your customers can pay in the webshop via iDEAL, credit card and other common methods.

Can I cancel monthly?

Yes, all subscriptions can be cancelled monthly. With yearly billing your contract runs until the end of the paid period.

Is the webshop included?

The shop is an add-on on every plan. Hosted shop: €25 per month (excl. VAT). Embed or WooCommerce: €19 per month (excl. VAT). Online redemption in hosted/embed also requires the 'Online redemption' toggle in security settings.

Can customers redeem gift cards online?

Yes. In-store you use the card number/barcode; online the customer uses redemption code + PIN. For hosted/embed enable 'Gift card payment in webshop' and 'Online redemption'. With WooCommerce configure redemption in the plugin on your WordPress site.

Can I sell on my existing website?

Yes. Use the hosted webshop, embed the store on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or a custom site via iframe, or connect WooCommerce with our plugin. The dashboard includes a step-by-step guide for each platform.

What about privacy and GDPR?

Kadova is fully GDPR compliant. We process data within the EU and provide tools for access, export and deletion of personal data.

Custom API is not a separate shop channel in the dashboard — your developer integrates v2 server-side. No native Shopify or other plugins unless explicitly supported.

Sell printed or digital cards at the till. Issuance, balance and redemption are managed fully digitally in Kadova — the same templates, QR codes and reporting as online.

Shopify, Lightspeed eCom and CCV Shop issue-only (beta) are available for gift-card sales after paid orders. Adobe Commerce OS/PaaS issue-only is beta — always name the edition. Full checkout redeem and Adobe SaaS OOPE are not GA. WooCommerce, hosted, embed and custom API are.

We only claim full shop integration (sell and redeem) for channels marked green in our capability matrix. Other platforms use custom API or are in development.
